This CRPF Constable recruitment notification is released for total 9175 posts , in which 9,096 vacancies are filled with Male candidates and 79 posts will be filled with Female candidates . There are three categories of Constable posts in this notification . They are

- Constable Tradesmen
- Constable Pioneer
Eligibility for CRPF Constable
Candidates should fulfill following conditions to be eligible for this notification .
- Candidates must be a citizen of India.
- Candidate should not have married or entered in to marriage contract
- Candidates should not have a living spouse
Age Limit
For Constable (Driver):
- 21-27 years as on 01/01/2026. Candidates should not have been born earlier than 02/01/1999 and later than 01/01/2005.
For Constable (Motor Mechanic Vehicle / Cobbler / Carpenter / Tailor / Brass Band / Pipe Band / Gardner / Bugler / Painter / Cook / Barber cum Hair Dresser / Washer Man & Women / Water Carrier / Safai Karamchari / Mason / Plumber / Electrician:
- 18-23 years as on 01/01/2026. Candidates should not have been born earlier than 02/01/2003 and later than 01/01/2008.
Note : Age relaxation will be available for SC, ST and Ex-Servicemen and they are as follows
For SC, ST : 5 Years
For OBC : 3 Years
For Ex-servicemen : 3 Years after deduction of the military service rendered from the actual age as on the date
of reckoning.
Educational Qualification
For all posts , candidate should have passed matriculation from any recognized board in India . Other certificates such as driving license and apprentice certificate are required for few posts . candidates are advised to check detailed notification for eligibility before applying for any posts.

CRPF Constable Selection Procedure
CRPF Constable recruitment process includes:
- Physical Efficiency Test (PET)

CRPF Constable Exam Pattern
A Computer based test is conducted for 100 marks . This exam will consists of 100 questions each question will carry 1 mark. Negative marking is also there in the exam . Negative marks of 0.25 is applicable for each wrong question

CRPF Constable Physical Test Eligibility
Candidates should posses minimum physical standards mentioned in the official notification for each post . In Physical Efficiency test physical standards of candidate will be checked . The minimum required physical standards are as follows
Minimum Height:
- Male: 170 cm
- Female: 157 cm
Candidates need to perform physical activities like running in the physical efficiency test . they are as follows
For Male Candidates:
- 5 Km in 24 minutes (Driver & Technical posts)
- 1.6 Km in 10 minutes (some trades)
For Female Candidates:
- 1.6 Km in 8.5 minutes
