State Bank of India released the SBI Apprentice Recruitment 2026 notification for engagement of apprentices under the Apprentices Act, 1961. A total of 7150 apprentice vacancies are going to be filled across various states and union territories in India.
Eligible graduates can apply online from 19 May 2026 to 08 June 2026 through the SBI careers portal. The online examination is tentatively scheduled for July 2026.

SBI Apprentice Eligibility
Candidate must fulfill eligibility criteria for applying for the notification . The eligibility criteria is mentioned below
Educational Qualification
Candidates must possess Graduation ( Degree) from a recognized University or Institute of India . The qualification should be completed as on 01 April 2026.

Selected apprentices will receive:
- ₹15,000 per month stipend.
No additional allowances or benefits will be provided.
SBI Apprentice Selection Process
SBI Apprentice Selection will be made based following steps .
- Online Written Test
- Local Language Test
- Medical Examination
Candidates has to go though Online written test as preliminary test . Candidates qualified in Online test will be called for local Language test , where candidate will be checked for communication skill in local language . Candidate qualified will be called for medical examination for physical fitness .
SBI Apprentice Exam Pattern 2026
SBI Apprentice exam is conducted for 100 marks . The exam consist 100 questions , each question will carry 1 mark. The time given for 100 questions is 60 Minutes. Candidates need to complete 100 questions in 60 minutes . The subject wise questions are mentioned below .
