To apply for the Telangana Ration card:
- Applicant must be a permanent resident of the state.
- Family must not own a four-wheeler, whereas taxi or tractor are excepted.
- Government employees are not eligible to apply.
- Family must not possess another ration card.

- Up to Rs.1,50,000 for Rural residents.

Online Process
- Visit the Telangana Civil Supplies official website epds.telangana.gov.in or meeseva webstie meeseva.telangana.gov.in
- Click on the Link “Apply for Food Security Card“. The link will be activated by the government only during specific periods.
- Fill in all the required basic, personal and family details along with Aadhaar card numbers.
- Scan and upload all the required documents.
- Recheck all the entered details and submit the application.
- Note down or take a printout of the Reference/Application number for checking the status.

- Visit the nearest MeeSeva Center.
- Fill out the Food Security card application form.
- Take printout of the required documents and attest them with the application form.

- Click on the link “FSC search“
- Select “FSC Application search“.
- Select your district from the list.
- Enter MeeSeva Number/ Application Number and click on the Search button.

- Visit the official website portal: epds.telangana.gov.in.
- Click on the link “Status of Rejected Ration Card search” available in the drop down list.
- Enter Ration Card Number and click on the Search button.

How to Add member in the Ration Card
You can add a newly born child, Spouse or any newly dependent family member to your ration card by .
- Visit the nearest MeeSeva Center.
- Take photocopies of Aadhar Card, Birth certificate (for new born) or Marriage certificate (for spouse) or Existing ration card copy (if any).
- Fill up the form and attest the photocopies.
- After submission, collect the acknowledgement receipt containing the Reference number/Application number for tracking the status.
How to Remove a member
Removal of a family member from the Telangana Ration card is permitted in case of Death of a family member, transfer to another family (if married), and if there is a duplicate entry.
- To remove a member visit the nearest Meeseva center.
- Take photocopies of Death Certificate (if applicable), Aadhaar copy or Existing Ration card copy.
- Fill out the member removal application form.
- Attest the photocopies along with the removal form.
- Collect the Acknowledgement to track the removal status.
Corrections in Ration Card
Applicant make corrections in the name, Aadhaar number, Address, Mobile Number, Gender, Date of Birth. Applicants can request corrections in the Ration Card offline by visiting the nearest Meeseva center or Online by following the steps below:
- Visit the Telangana meeseva portal meeseva.telangana.gov.in
- Click on the link “Services” option available in the menu.
- In the Search for Services field, type “Corrections in the Food Security Card“.
- Click on the link of Download Application form.
- Fill in the required corrections in the fields available.
- Scan and Upload the filled in Application form along with valid Identity Proof and Address Proof.
- Submit the form by paying the fee amount of Rs.45/-.
- After payment, corrections in Food Security Card Receipt will appear.
- Within 30 days the corrections will be made.
- Applicants can check the status of the corrections by following the steps of Telangana Ration Card status.

- Visit the Civil Supplies website epds.telangana.gov.in
- Enter FSC Reference Number/ Ration Card Number/ Old Ration Card Number.

- The details of Ration Card, along with Family member details will be displayed on the screen.
- An option to Download the Digital copy of the Ration Card will be available.
