TG EDCET 2026 Notification

TG EDCET 2026 (formerly TS EDCET) notification is released on 23-02-2026 . TG EDCET eligibility , Exam date , exam pattern and hall ticket download details are explained in notification . TG EDCET is conducted for admission into B.Ed. 2-year regular course in colleges of education in Telangana. This exam is conducted by Kakatiya University, Warangal on behalf of Telangana Council of Higher Education (TGCHE).

TG EDCET 2026 test will be conducted through Computer Based Test (CBT) for the admissions in academic year 2026-27. Exam will consist of 150 questions for 150 marks . Candidate should answer in 120 minutes .

TG EDCET 2026 Eligibility

Candidates who want to appear for TG EDCET 2026 must satisfy the following eligibility conditions as prescribed by TG EDCET convenor .

• The candidate should be an Indian citizen
• The applicant should have passed or any equivalent degree with at least 50% marks. Final year students who are appearing for exam are also eligible .
• For SC, ST and BC candidates, minimum marks required is 40%.
• Candidates with professional courses like MBBS, B.Pharm, LLB and similar job-oriented degrees are not eligible for admission into B.Ed course.
• Minimum age required is 19 years and there is no maximum age limit.

TG EDCET 2026 Exam Pattern

TG EDCET exam consists of five sections

• Subject content,
• Teaching aptitude,
• General English,
• General knowledge and Educational Issues
• Computer awareness.

TG EDCET Exam Fee

TG EDCET 2026 will collect fee for registration and application . The fee is varies for various categories which is as follows

• For General Category Such as OC and OBC : Rs. 750
• For Reserved Categories such as SC, ST and PH : Rs 550

This application fee is should be paid while applying for TS EDCET 2026 and it can be paid online through various payment options available in TG EDCET official website . This application fee is non-refundable .

• Preview your application and check the details entered and submit application form .

TG EDCET Hall ticket download option is enabled on 09-05-2026 . Candidates are advised to visit official website for download TS EDCET 2026 admit card download. Steps to be followed are

TG ECDET 2026 answer key will be released on . Objections over answer key will be called . IF there are any objection proved answer key will be finalized and released . Based on final key results will be announced .

TG EDCET 2026 Results

TG EDCET results will be releases  30 May 2026 . After results declaration rank card will be generated . This rank are used in seat allocation .
