TG POLYCET 2026 Notification
Telangana POLYCET 2026 is a state-level entrance exam conducted for diploma admissions in engineering and non-engineering colleges across Telangana. This exam is organized by the State Board of Technical Education and Training, Telangana.
Those students who have completed or appering for SSC (10th class) can apply for TG POLYCET 2026 and secure admission into government and private polytechnic colleges. The students of Grade X with any syllabus like state, CBSE, ICSE or any board can apply and attend the TG POLYCET 2026.

Students are advised to complete the application process early to avoid last minute issues and also to avaoid paying late fee.
Eligibility
Before applying candidates must ensure they meet the following eligibility conditions:
- Must be an Indian citizen.
- Should belong to Telangana or Andhra Pradesh.
- Must have passed SSC or equivalent exam.
- A minimum of 35% marks is required.
- Students appearing for SSC exams in 2026 can also apply.
How to Apply for TG POLYCET 2026
The application process is simple and fully online with following steps:
- Visit the official POLYCET website polycet.sbtet.telangana.gov.in.
- Select the application form link.
- First candidates must verify the mobile number with OTP.
- Login with the Registration number and password.
- Pay prescribed application fee.
- After successful payment, Fill up the form with Personal, Academic and Communication details.
- Upload necessary documents like photograph and signature.
- Submit the form and save a copy or take print out for further reference.
Applicatio Fee details
- General candidates: Rs.500/-
- SC/ST candidates: Rs.250/-
- Payment can be done through online methods like debit card, credit card, or net banking.

- There will be 150 questions.
- Questions will be of Multiple choice.
- There won’t be any Negative Marketing.
- Attending Biology questions is optional, because two sepearate ranks will be allotted.
- For Diploma in Polytechnics, Rank will be issued to the candidates based on marks obtained in Maths, Physics and Chemistry (MPC).
- For Diploma Courses in PJTAU, PVNRTVU, and SKLTGHU, Rank will be issued based on marks obatined in Maths, Physic, Chemistry and Biology (MBiPC).
- Agricultural courses are offered by Professor Jayashankar Telangana State Agricultural University (PJTAU).
- Horticultural Diploma courses are offered by Sri Konda Laxman Telangana State Horticultural University (SKLTGHU).
- Animal Husbandry and Fisheries Courses are offered by PV Narasimha Rao Telangana Veterinary University (PVNRTVU).
Syllabus
The syllabus is based on Telangana SSC curriculum:
- Maths: Number System, Algebra, Mensuration, Trigonomentry
- Physics: Motion, Force, Energy, Electricity
- Chemistry: Chemical bonding, reactions, Acids and Bases

Hall Ticket Download
- The offical portal will provide the link to downoad the hall ticket of TG POLYCET 2026 Exam from first week of May 2026.
- Enter the Registration Number, SSC Hall Ticket Number and Date of Birth to download the Hall Ticket.
- Without the hall ticket, entry to the examination center will not be allowed.
- Also check all the details in the hall ticket, If there are any mistakes immediately correct them by contacting the authorities.
Result and Ranking
- After the exam, results will be published online on 25th May 2026.
- Students can check the total marks secured out of 120 marks, State Rank and Qualification status.
- The rank plays a key role during the admission process.
