TG TET 2026 Notification – Apply Online, Exam Dates, Eligibility , Syllabus

TG TET 2026 notification is released on 13.04.2026 for June 2026 session . Interested candidates can apply online through official website https://tgtet.aptonline.in. Candidates are advised to check eligibility , exam dates , syllabus and online application procedure before applying for TG TET 2026 . TG TET 2026 Overview

 

TG TET will be conducted in Two Papers .

• Paper 1: Candidates who wants to teach to Class 1- Class 5 need to apply for Paper 1
• Paper 2 : Candidates who wants to teach to Class 6- Class 8 need to apply for Paper 2

Candidates who want to teach for Classes 1-8 need to apply for both Paper 1& 2 .

The validity period of TGTET qualifying certificates for appointment, unless otherwise notified by the Government of Telangana, would remain valid for life. TET score shall have 20% weightage in Teacher Recruitment Test in the State of Telangana.

TG TET 2026 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates who wants to apply for TG TET 2026 need to fulfill eligibility criteria as mentioned in official website .

Candidates who posses D.El Ed./ D.Ed. / B.Ed. / Language Pandit or equivalent qualification and pursuing final year with required percentage are eligible for TG TET . Candidates who already appeared for TG TET in previous sessions also can apply for their score improvement

TET for in-service teachers:

•  All in-service Teachers working in Government, Local Authority and Private (Aided and Unaided) management Schools are permitted to appear for TGTET conducted by the State Government or CTET conducted by the Central Government.
•  Secondary Grade Teachers and LFL Head Masters working in Government and Local Body Schools appointed with both D.El.Ed. and B.Ed. qualification are permitted to appear for Paper I
• School Assistants, Language Pandits and Head Masters of High Schools are permitted to appear for Paper II

TG TET Exam Date

TG TET 2026 Exam is scheduled Between 15.06.2026 and 30.06.2026 .

Morning Session Timings : 09.00 AM to 11.30 AM (2 Hours 30 Minutes)
Afternoon Session Timings : 2.00 PM to 4.30 PM (2 Hours 30 Minutes)

Candidate are advised to check exam date and exam session timing after downloading the hall ticket .

TG TET Exam Fee

Candidates who are applying for TG TET are required to pay application fee based on their reservation category . The exam fee for various categories are as follows

For Paper 1 or Paper 2	For General & OBC Rs 750	For SC / ST/ PwD Rs. 700
For Both Papers	For General & OBC Rs 1000	For SC / ST/ PwD Rs. 950

 

TG TET 2026 Online Application Process (Step-by-Step)

Follow these steps to apply online TG TET 2026

Step 1: Visit Official Website

Go to the official portal of TG TET.

Step 2: Click on Apply Online

Click on “TG TET 2026 Application” link.

Step 3: Fill Basic Details

Enter basic details such as

• Name
• Date of Birth
• Mobile Number
• Aadhaar Details

Candidates are advised to maintain one mobile number till the completion of the exam .

Step 4: Upload Documents

Upload required documents such as

• Photograph
• Signature
• Educational Certificates

While uploading documents required size and dimensions are mentioned in the website . candidate need to upload as mentioned in the website only .

 Step 5: Pay Application Fee

Based on you category and number of Papers you are applying you will need to pay the application fee . Choose any payment method available in website and complete fee payment.

 Step 6: Submit Application

Review details you are entered , ensure all the details are entered correctly. If anything is wrongly entered use edit and correct them , if you find all the details correct submit the form.

Step 7: Print Confirmation

After Completion of submission of application Download and save application form for future reference. You may need this application number while downloading admit card .

TG TET 2026 Exam Pattern

TG TET exam is conducted for 150 questions . Each question carries 1 mark. These questions are multiple choice questions . This 150 questions need to be answered in 150 minutes . Subject wise marks for both paper 1 and 2 are furnished below .
